I'm running a new contest at my site, something I haven't done in a really long time. Anyway, it's about Vintage Sewing Patterns, and I hope you'll enter.

One of my favorite places to surf around on is the Vintage Sewing Patterns Wiki. You can find old patterns there from the 1890s until the 1970s. Anyway, for this contest, I want you to draw something that can be made using one of these vintage sewing patterns. Colours, material, etc, do not matter, but you must keep the clothing structure the same. Beyond that you can add whatever you want to the design, accessories or other garments. You can draw a vintage or retro doll, or, you can make you entry modern and wearing a piece of vintage inspired clothing. You can also draw a doll based on one of the pattern envelopes. When you have finished your entry, you must also submit a link to the vintage pattern wiki page where the pattern is listed (yes, it needs to have a page there). Happy dolling!
